We believe in one God, who is Sovereign over all of
creation and who exists in three persons; the Father,
the Son and the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy
6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

 |
We believe Jesus Christ is our Saviour, that He came to earth in
human form. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed
miracles, died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead,
and ascended to the right hand of God as our Intercessor.
He will one day return in glory to establish His Kingdom on the earth.
(John 1:1, Matt 1:18, 2 Cor 5:21, Acts 10:38,
1 John 2:2, Luke 24:39, Heb 4:14, 1 Thess 4:16-18, Rev 21:1-2)
|
 |
We believe The Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God.
The Bible reveals God's love and message of salvation for each person.
(2 Tim 3:16-17)
|
 |
We believe that salvation is a free gift to all people that can only
be received through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Accepting
this gift makes it possible for us to have a personal relationship with
Him as our Lord and Saviour. The Bible says, 'to those
that believed Him they were given the right to become children of
God'. Therefore salvation is a personal decision. We believe that
God has a plan for each of us, to prosper us and give us a hope and a future.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, Revelation 3:20,
Acts 4:12, Rom 3:22-26)

We believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and
the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the
gifts of the Holy Spirit, as documented in the Bible
around the time of Jesus, are still available to us today
and are freely given to us in varying degrees. The gifts of
wisdom, knowledge, faith,
healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discernment, speaking
in tongues and interpretation of tongues are given by God.
They are given for the encouragement, inspiration and growth of
believers, to become more like Christ and to be effective and
fruitful in all God calls them to do.
(1 Cor 12:1-11)

 |
We believe the church is the body of Christ and with Christ as its head.
The church exists to teach the Word of God, worship God, equip
believers for ministry and share God's message of mercy, hope,
love and forgiveness to the world. Being a member of a local church is
important to us. We believe that God calls us to regular fellowship
as believers so that all have the opportunity to give, receive and grow together.
(1 Cor 12:22-27, Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-16, 1 Cor 12:13,
Eph 4:11-16, 1 Cor 12:28, 1 Cor 14:12)
|
 |
We believe in evangelism. We believe that Jesus gave a command
to his followers to 'Go' into all the world, preach the good news,
baptise those who believe, teach them to follow His commands
and make disciples in His name.
(Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:18-20)
|
|
 |
 |
We believe that man was created in the image of God for
fellowship with Him and to be stewards over the earth.
(Gen 1:26-28)
Through sin (our disobedience to God and acts of disobedience)
we have been separated from God and are unable to redeem ourselves.
Every person needs this relationship and everyone is able to be
forgiven and be accepted by God.
(Mat 19:25-26, Rom 5:12)
|
 |
We believe that believers should be baptised in water as
an outward sign of their commitment to Jesus
(Matt 28:19, 1 Pet 3:20-22).
We believe in remembering and celebrating through communion
Jesus' death on the cross and the victory He won on our behalf.
(1 Cor 11:23-27)
|
 |
We believe in the family and that God established it as the basic
building block of society. Children are a gift from God and need
to be raised in a secure and loving environment that establishes them in the Christian faith.
(Psalms 127:3-5)
|
 |
We believe that God ordained marriage to be between a man and woman for companionship, support and to be fruitful.
(Genesis 1:28, Genesis 2:20-25, Ephesians 5:31, Ephesians 5:25, 1 Peter 3:7)
